Once you can survive and hold your ground, taking out the boss is just a matter of time dependant on the power of your weapons. I usually roll with upgraded Terran, or Venghi Heavy Armor, and the amount can vary depending on the perks you choose. The repair system repairs a percentage of your total amount, so the more you have, the more you'll repair. There's nothing in this game that is a threat to this ship, save the odd boss with a difficult loadout. 253 Armor points per second! This is by no means the highest amount, and my repair system is only purple. I purposely turned off my shield and let myself get damaged to show you my hull regeneration. You can load down on Venghi Heavy Shields, and I've done that with great effect, but nothing really beats the Armor Tank in my experience. You'll want constant DPS, so fire a few test shots and add more Heatsinks if needed. There would be little point to recommend weapons, as you basically use the most powerful that you have found. And the same goes for Shields, Heatsinks, Chargers, etc. You'll want to have the best you can get. There are a few things on a ship that you can only have 1 of, such as your Impulse Drive, Armor, Battle Computer, etc.
